VDO ViewLine Series

ViewLine is VDO’s instrument range for building a matched panel. The gauges share one dial and bezel style across every reading, run on both 12 V and 24 V, and are used on boats as well as on vehicles and machines, which is why the VDO marine gauges on this site are ViewLine parts. Supporting gauges are 52 mm, and the speedometers, tachometers and tachourmeters come in 85 mm and 110 mm.

The series covers speedometers from 60 to 200 km/h, 300 km/h and 140 mph, tachometers and tachourmeters from 3 000 to 10 000 rpm, oil, brake, transmission and turbo pressure gauges, coolant, oil, cylinder head and ambient temperature gauges, exhaust pyrometers to 900 °C, fuel gauges for both ohm standards, voltmeters, ammeters with separate shunts, clocks and the marine gauges: rudder angle, trim, synchronizer, sumlog and pitot speed.

Several ViewLine readings are listed under more than one part number. The difference is often the dial or bezel finish, so open the listing on Omnipart to compare before ordering a set. The 8-pin connector plug and a 110 mm bezel are listed here too, and every gauge still needs the sender that matches its range.
