VDO SingleViu Series

SingleViu is VDO’s current single-gauge range for commercial vehicles, plant, agricultural machines and boats. Most SingleViu gauges on this page are listed for both 12 V and 24 V systems, so one part number serves a bakkie and a truck. The dials are 52 mm for the supporting gauges and 80 mm or 100 mm for speedometers and tachometers.

The listings print the sender range each gauge expects, for example 10 to 184 ohm on the pressure gauges and 287 to 22 ohm on the coolant temperature gauges, so the sender can be matched before fitting. The range covers oil, brake, transmission and turbo pressure, coolant, oil, transmission, hydraulic and cylinder head temperature, a pyrometer to 1 000 °C, fuel level on both ohm standards, AdBlue (DEF) level, a 0-5 V level gauge, voltmeters and ammeters.

Many SingleViu part numbers come in two forms: the full part with its connector harness, and a cheaper gauge-only part for replacing a failed gauge on an existing harness. The 8-pin and 12-pin SingleViu connector harnesses are sold separately, along with the SingleViu and ViewLine programming kit and licence dongle used to configure the gauges.
